Working with a tight budget we transformed a standard ‘straight from the developer’ kitchen layout to work with the needs of its new user. The top priority being the requirement for more usable countertop space and a personalised function design.

We planned the cabinetry to house the larger appliances, getting them off the countertop with added storage, freeing up space for everyday use and seamless transitions between meal times.
The new layout acts in directing flow through the entry, with the countertop extending into the dining area, to be used as a serving station when hosting guests.

Darker wood cabinetry with textured ironmongery was chosen to contrast with the existing wall tiles and set a moodier tone throughout the space.
