d'Cosmos Residence is a compact apartment thoughtfully reimagined to feel more expansive, cohesive, and light-filled. With a renovation budget of RM80,000, YHRD Studio was engaged to design and deliver a transformation that balances restraint with spatial clarity.

Our work focused on the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms, where we removed an internal wall to open up the layout. A custom-engineered wood and glass partition now softly defines the dining and study areas—preserving flow while allowing daylight to permeate deep into the plan. A consistent palette of warm woods and gentle curves is carried throughout, including bespoke rounded wall panels and a new kitchen island tailored to the client's request for a round dining table.

Designed and built entirely in-house, this project exemplifies how modest interventions, crafted well, can unlock both elegance and functionality in everyday living.
